S.T.A.R. app for iPhone and iPad

STAR (Siti del Turismo Astronomico in Roma) is the first smartphone and tablet application entirely dedicated to the valorization of the sites of astronomical interest (sundial, mithraea, and other places of astronomical interest).
This application is aimed at a very broad audience: both those who approach for the first time to these subject and experts, and aims to rediscover the original purpose of the constructions of many famous sights of Rome, linked to its astronomical aspects.
STAR allows you to choose your own path through one or more sites contained in the app, showing you the path to follow to reach the various stages of the tour, on foot or by car, thanks to the integrated GPS .
Once you reach the site of interest, you can access all the information that is provided in a dynamic, interesting and attractive way (audio guides, images and more) and also through the use of innovative technologies such as augmented reality and 3D reconstructions.
